skinning cats

I can’t imagine there was ever a time when skinning cats was an object of debate… so lets consider it Schrodinger’s cat.  I just learned 3 new ways to accomplish the same task in a computer program.  I remember when it was even more frustrating to learn a program with little assistance other than the “help” menu.  I think that its interesting that a program that is supposed to be a finite system of measures ends up offering you almost as many ways to do something as there are to skin a cat.  It also reminds me of professor’s advice about design.  Holding to your favorite way doesn’t leave any room for improvement.
